Peter Glanz is a British American writer/director based out of New York and Los Angeles. He just completed a script based on the novel ‘CHOPIN AND BEYOND’ for Paramount with Martin Scorsese attached to direct and produce. Additionally, Peter’s currently writing ‘ONLY THE LONELY’, a sci-fi noir romance for JJ Abrams' Bad Robot and Paramount. His script 'THE ZHIVAGO AFFAIR' (based on the best-selling book of the same title) is currently in pre-production with Anton Corbijn directing and Willem Dafoe & Joanna Kulig starring. Previously, Peter wrote ‘RACE TO THE SOUTH POLE’, which is setup at Warner Brothers with Pearl Street Pictures (Ben Affleck and Matt Damon) producing and Oscar-winner Casey Affleck attached to star.

After his short 'RELATIONSHIP IN FOUR DAYS' premiered in Cannes and Sundance, Peter made his directorial debut with ‘THE LONGEST WEEK’ starring Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde, which was released in 2014. And is currently in prep on his next film ‘POLITE SOCIETY’, an absurdist satire about a family of social-climbers in 18th century England – starring Richard E. Grant and Tom Burke and produced by Altitude and Paramount. On the television front, Peter recently setup ‘AMERICAN THRONE’ at UCP with Esmail Corp producing and Julius Onah co-writing & directing.

Peter has also directed numerous commercials for iconic brands such as DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs, RAM, YSL, and Swarovski, as well as the music video for Carly Rae Jepson’s video 'I REALLY LIKE YOU' starring Tom Hanks, which has over 250 million views.
